Aideen Cross, the creative force behind the label, began her journey in the late ‘80s after graduating from the prestigious Grafton Academy of Dress Design in Dublin. Amidst the challenges of a recession, she took
a bold leap and launched her own bridal line. By showcasing her unique collections at Dublin wedding fairs and in Irish bridal magazines, Aideen garnered the recognition that would pave the way for her success, culminating in her accolade as Bridal Designer of the Year in 1996.
Aideen’s design philosophy is deeply rooted in inspiration drawn from various sources - nature, culture, history, and even personal experiences. Each new bridal collection starts with the selection of exquisite fabrics, which serve as the canvas for her artistic vision. The design process at Aideen Cross

At Aideen Cross Designs, the focus is on building a personal connection with each bride, and providing exceptional attention to detail throughout the whole process, is a personal journey, ideally with an initial appointment taking place up to 6months of the wedding day. During this collaborative session, Aideen works closely with each bride to explore their ideas, review
her existing collections, and discuss fabrics, fit, and budget considerations. Following this, sketches are created,the bride’s measurements are taken to ensure a perfect fit. Fitting days, often shared with supportive family and friends, with the final reveal of the dress eight - six weeks before the big day.
